Wild Marsh wins semi finals MPGA match against Pebble Creek 14 to 10 on August 29th. Wild Marsh is scheduled to play the winner of the Eastern Semi Finals on Sunday September 26th. Wild Marsh Wins its last regular scheduled MPGA 16 Man Event at Meadow Brook August 1st 12.5 to 11.5. The event ended in a tie after the 8 matches forcing a sudden death playoff. Wild Marsh's Chris Larson sank a birdie putt on the 5th sudden death playoff hole to secure the win.

Congratulations to Luke and Mike for completing their Birdie cards, Jim is in the process of validating the scores once that has been complete they will split the pot.

We have just completed our 12th event so payouts will be next Thursday August 5th. Thanks to all the people that use the online tee times it saves us a lot of time when we do the scoring.

Message from the Club House: On Saturday August 14 and 15^th we will have our Club Championship. This year we will be having a dinner and party on Saturday night after golf.

The Women's League will be conducting a Cancer Fund Raiser  this Thursday. This event supports people effect in the local area and you support would be appreciated.

There will be women on one of the par 3's to sell raffle tickets (which they can double if they get on the green). They may also have a beverage or two to offer.

• Results for the first 3 weeks have been tabulated and results are posted in the Weekly Results folder under the Results menu.  We have again decided to wait before finalizing the budget as we are still hoping for a few more new members who have verbally committed but have yet to show up or pay, so the winning payouts have not yet been determained.  We will allow 2 more weeks.

• Reminder that this week's event is a 2 person Red/White/Blue scramble.
  • Please review the rules under the Event Rules menu.  We will also print out the rules to hand out on Thursday. 
  • As posted in the Birdies or Better rules, Two man Scramble Birdies or Better will be awarded to each of the players on the team.
  • This event will be a 6:00 pm shotgun start.  Partners will be assigned by a random draw.  Everybody that signs up for tee times will be in the drawing, and persons not registered must arrive between 5:30 & 5:45 at the course.   At 5:50 we will put everyone's name in the hat and draw the 2 person teams to go out at 6:00 PM or as soon as possible pending the earlier course event.

The final yearly budget will be available for review next week.  We have decided to wait one more week before finalizing the budget in order to allow for any additional member signups over the next week.

The week 1 winners will be posted this week, but the payouts to the winners will not be calculated until after the budget update.

Great turnout for week 1 - BUT we still request that tee times are set up ahead of time using this site.  We had over half of the group last week show up without making a tee time!

All tee times should now be made using this web site.  Tee times should be made at least a day in advance of each Thursday event.  To review step by step instructions on how to reserve your tee time refer to Instuctions for Making Tee Times in Folders and Documents under the News menu item.

If you do not make a tee time by Tuesday evening you will have to call the clubhouse to make a time on Thursday.  We will no longer be able to just show up and play on Thursday evening without a tee time.

You will be able to make tee times in advance for at least 4 weeks into the future.  For the Red/White/Blue Scramble event on May 27th, just sign up for any time.  You will be paired with a partner and another group of 2, and assigned a starting location, before the start of that evenings event.

If you had any winnings in the club house you were unable to pickup, they were mailed out earlier this week.

Please stop by the club house to get your Thursday men's Club Payout, they will be available until October 9th.

With the new flower beds throughout the course and the landscaping around the tee signs these will be classified as GUR. We do not want you hitting out of these areas so you get relief without a penalty. Establish you nearest point of relief no closer to the hole and drop to get back into play.

In drop zones you can place your ball.
